New Gateway list for 2011 - 2012

The titles of the fifteen nominees for the Gateway Reader's Award for 2011-2012 has just been released. Come to the library to find out what books made the list...and check one out. You could get a head start on next year's communication arts assignments!

New Library Design Someday

We have hopes that we can re-design our library space some time in the future and would love to have some comments from students, parents, and GHS staff about what should be in an updated library. No idea is too silly. Think outside the box!

New Books? We've Got Them!

Some of our new fiction books have arrived and are available for check out. They are on a cart near the circulation counter. Not everything we ordered is here yet, but the rest are on the way. Happy reading!

New Books on the Way

New fiction books for GHS have been shipped! I just checked our order, and the books are on the way to Springfield. They will first go to our district library office to be checked in, then they will come to us. Maybe new books will be our Christmas present.

What Are You Reading?

What are you reading? If you find a book you really like, pick up a Student Recommendation form in the Library. They're at the circulation counter. Fill it out and we'll put the book you're recommending on display in the center section!

This is also a great place to start looking for a book to read. See what Glendale students are enjoying.

Good News!

Since so many of you have been asking, we are pleased to announce that our book order has been placed by the district offices. We are crossing our fingers to have new reading material for you before Winter Break.
